Since opening in a little tattoo shack in East Dallas in 2007, The Gypsy Wagon has racked up quite a roster of milestones – and another is in store this week!     Now located at 2928 North Henderson Avenue in Dallas, The Gypsy Wagon is the recipient of a Rising Star in Retail Award from Fashion Group International. The popular boutique also boasts accolades from D Magazine, including Best of Big D Readers’ Choice Awards for both Women’s Boutique and Gift Store. Let’s not forget, also, the title of Best Store in Dallas from Shop Across Texas. Capping a stellar first few years, owner Carley Seale (pictured below) opened a second location in Crested Butte, Colorado, in 2012. When last we caught up with our friends at The Gypsy Wagon, they’d just debuted a new billboard, website, and blog. Today comes news of another reveal, set for this Thursday.     Headed by Visual Merchandising Director, Vince Maggio, a fresh interior update for The Gypsy Wagon will feature the works of Stash Design. In keeping with the store’s boho chic aesthetic, new fixtures utilize repurposed materials, including old fence wood. To celebrate the new look, a Reveal Party will take place this Thursday, March 20, from 3 -8 p.m. Adding to the celebration, a sale will bring 20% savings storewide, and a Richard Schmidt trunk show will present the jewelry designer’s latest works. Guests wearing items purchased at The Gypsy Wagon may also enter a drawing to win a $100 gift card.
