A friendship is at the heart of our latest Dallas boutique discovery. Anne Marie Daniel and Pamela Cotter’s chic spot Wolo is named for its “West On Lovers” address. Inside, we find examples both of the ladies’ similarities, and of their stylish differences.
Daniel and Cotter (pictured above) are the only employees of their just months-old upscale women’s clothing boutique. Tight knit, they bond over hard work ethics and a solid friendship. Specializing in personal service, they pride themselves on searching key markets to source exclusive clothing for the discriminating Dallas shopper.
Of note, the Wolo founders also each boast rich backgrounds in the fashion and retail industries. Daniel’s mentor is Louella Hundt of Joan Vass, and Cotter’s include Nancy Agan, owner of Nancy’s in San Angelo, and Nancy Diebolt, long time owner of Dallas’ famed Turtletique.
For their seasonal buys, the friends’ divergent aesthetics are an asset to Wolo’s selection. Daniel focuses on the more casual side, leaning toward sporty and comfortably chic picks. Pamela prefers collections that are sophisticated and polished.
Examples of current in-store items are pictured here. The friends’ Spring 2014 selection highlights a diverse list of must-have trends for the season, including perforated lightweight leathers, shades of yellow and orange, neutrals with shine, long pleated skirts, and black and white.
Color us very intrigued by this new discovery – but you don’t have to take our word for it. Wolo Boutique is open Tuesday through Saturday in Inwood Village at 5450 W. Lovers Lane, Suite 131, Dallas. Visit ShopWolo.com for more information.
