Texas-based Kissue Boutique Fashions a Future Online & Beyond

Fashion is a family affair for the dynamic sister duo behind a new Texas-based e-boutique, Kissue. Influenced by their deep home state roots and boasting an unbreakable family bond, Kailey and Kaygan Tissue (pictured below) are looking to make their new retail venture a premier online destination for the trendy and stylish woman.

The old adage that “age is only a number” is one that rings true with these two very young budding entrepreneurs. Kaygan, a 21-year-old fashion merchandising student at Texas Christian University, attributes her tastes in clothing to the late Alexander McQueen. This nod to an iconic, standard-setting designer hints at the inspiration behind some of the more eclectic and artistically-inspired pieces available in the boutique. Kailey, 23, graduated with a degree in advertising from the University of Florida. She’s already worked for the likes of designer Vivienne Tam and popular fashion label Rag & Bone in New York City.

While the sisters acknowledge an over-saturation of online fashion boutiques, they assure that the Kissue brand stands well above the rest in quality, affordability, and overall customer satisfaction. They stock only labels personally hand selected by both sisters, from markets in both Dallas and New York. With pieces recently photographed on Bravo reality star Courtney Kerr and Grammy Award-winning artist Michelle Williams, it is safe to say that Kailey and Kaygan have a keen eye for celebrity-worthy style. From trendy jumpsuits and rompers, to classic blazers and elegant outerwear, Kissue indeed caters trendsetters, as well as professionals and the everyday woman.

Over the course of the next several years, Kailey and Kaygan will work towards opening their own brick-and-mortar Kissue storefront, in addition to expanding their presence in the national market. For the time being, the sisters will continue to travel across the state of Texas, engaging in personal trunk shows and developing an intimate customer base. We see Kissue boutique as a brand on the rise; this Texas duo has what it takes to make a long-lasting impression in the ultra-competitive fashion industry.
