Anticipated like no other fashion event of the season, the annual gala of the Dallas chapter of Design Industries Foundation Fighting AIDS (DIFFA) presents one-of-a-kind, celebrity-designed jackets, auctioned to a crowd of our city’s most stylish guests. A seated dinner, over-the-top runway presentation, and cocktail party round out the black tie evening.  

  The upcoming 2014 event will take place on Saturday, March 29 at the Omni Dallas Hotel, marking the organization’s 24th year raising funds for men, women, and children affected by HIV and AIDS. To date, DIFFA Dallas has granted over $5 million dollars to the cause.  

  Always a tantalizing hint at the fashion feast in store, this year’s recently-announced theme is House of DIFFA 2014: Masquerade. The “extravagant costumes and intricate, hand-made masks” of the Carnival of Venice are highlighted as inspiration, and some 2,000-plus are expected to attend.
