The end of this month marks the start of a new year on the Chinese lunar calendar, and local Etsy vendors will kick off the Year of the Horse with a special West Elm bash on January 30.  

  Still smarting from your own New Year’s celebration a couple of weeks back? Never fear. This party places less emphasis on overindulgence, with a focus on local art and artisans instead. Think AEM Designs watercolors, sparkly décor by Republic of Party, and cute cookies from Sweets by Chree. For the particularly crafty, a lantern-making lesson with Shamsy Roomiani will also be offered.
