The largest and longest running fashion career event of its kind in the nation, Fashion Group International of Dallas has announced the 46th annual Dallas Career Day will take place on April 11th, 2014, at Dallas Market Center’s World Trade Center.     Attracting 1,000-plus students and faculty from more than 40 colleges and universities, Dallas Career Day includes a full schedule of expert speakers, panel discussions, and seminars. Touted as “The Ultimate Fashion Experience” for industry hopefuls, the high-energy event culminates in a professionally produced fashion show by Rhonda Sargent Chambers’ RSC Show Productions. A signature program of Fashion Group International of Dallas, Career Day awards more than $35,000 in scholarships in the areas of design and merchandising.  

  Following a theme entitled “The Brand Experience,” keynote speakers for 2014 include morning headliner Stacey Schieffelin (below, left), president and founder of ybf Beauty. The luncheon keynote will feature Cameron Silver (below, right), co-owner of renowned Los Angeles vintage and couture emporium, Decades.
