“If you aren’t wearing the right accessories, then you might as well be nude.”
Building momentum with each passing year, Accessories In The Nude (AIN) has announced its 2014 Cocktails & Competition – and the big night is just a few weeks away. Founded in 2008, this anticipated annual event includes a Business Seminar, Accessory Designer Competition, and Fashion Showcase. The three components will culminate on the evening of Saturday, March 15th.
Highlighting the work of DFW-area accessory designers, AIN serves as a forum for local talent, models, buyers, and writers, while supporting philanthropic causes. This year, proceeds will benefit Educated Exposure, and founder Meko Krout-King of Flair Productions promises a night we won’t soon forget.
Taking place at downtown Dallas’ beautiful One Arts Plaza, AIN 2014 will kick off with a cocktail reception and showcase of competing designers’ latest wearable accessory art. A panel of judges will then take on the difficult task of evaluating entries. The expert list includes jewelry designer Shona Gilbert, interior designer and television personality Bernard Underwood, celebrated stylist Jeanette Chivvis, and Accessory Concierge co-founders Amy Coffee and Amy Claro. DFW Style Daily is proud to act as this year’s event host. Throughout the evening, inspiration will abound, along with plenty of networking and fashion eye candy. At the end of the night, one talented local will earn AIN’s top honor.
