Now in its sixth year, Dallas-based Women That Soar celebrates accomplished international professionals in the areas of business, sports, media, arts, fashion, and philanthropy. Each annual season culminates in a gala event and awards ceremony, hosted by a celebrity guest and televised via CBS 11 and TXA 21.

From CEO Gina Grant, the anticipated list of 2013 Women That Soar honorees was announced just this week. Among the distinguished dozen is Dallas designer Paulette Martsolf (pictured above) of Allie-Coosh boutique and Accoutrer jewelry. A favorite of DFW Style Daily for her impeccably elegant aesthetic, Martsolf is known throughout the fashion community as one of the most successful independent Dallas designers in recent history. She has served her loyal clientele from her home base in Snider Plaza for over 20 years and counting, and each of her luxurious wardrobe items and accessories is manufactured locally.

“I am honored and humbled to receive this special award,” stated the statuesque Newfoundland native. “I support and encourage the pursuit of one’s passion. The reward at the end is priceless!”

Indeed, the upcoming Women That Soar gala caps a noteworthy year of rewards for Martsolf. Selected as the featured designer for the Dallas Museum of Art’s annual Art In Bloom Symposium in March (pictured above), her exclusive Marc Chagall-inspired collection received rave reviews.

Martsolf joins an impressive array of honorees to be fêted at this year’s Women That Soar gala on Saturday, November 9th in Dallas. They include Her Royal Highness, Princess Reema Bandar; Former First Lady of Mexico, Marta Fox; Former President of the WNBA, Donna Orender; and Legacy Award Recipient Nell St. Cyr, first female President of the Houston Petroleum Club. A portion of proceeds will benefit The Memnosyne Foundation. For additional details and ticketing information, please visit our Events Calendar.
