Always a feast for the eyes, display windows at Dallas designer resale emporium Clotheshorse Anonymous often showcase the work of Celesta Segerstrom of Paint Pot & Pen. With every new season, we look forward to the artist’s stunning couture sculptures, handcrafted of paper and recycled materials. Each is a three-dimensional homage to a fashion icon, with past subjects including Diana Vreeland and Christian Dior.

For Fall 2013, as our city eagerly anticipates December’s Chanel Métiers d’Art show, Clotheshorse pays tribute to Karl Lagerfeld (pictured above). Specifically, select looks from the Chanel Creative Director’s 2009 collection directly inspired the installation.

Following our sneak peek above, we highly recommend a visit to Clotheshorse Anonymous (11661 Preston Road, Dallas) to see these windows in person. How better to whet your appetite for the Chanel craze soon to come? Not to mention, the shop’s the perfect spot to snag a scarf, bag, or new bauble to accent your own Chanel-inspired ensemble.
