Mieux & Mieux has revamped its game in a big way. Following an expansion from a tiny space on Boll Street to a 3,000 square foot warehouse, the thrift and resale store now operates under a unique e-commerce strategy that allows for service to clients worldwide. Since mieux is French for better, it would seem that this growing business plans to live up to its name.
Owner and Dallas native Kelsey McLain opened Mieux & Mieux in February of this year. She stocked her small boutique with new and gently-used name brand and designer items purchased directly from local women. In just eight months, her part-time-hobby-turned-dream-come-true has blossomed.
“Mieux & Mieux provides an economically smart solution for women to buy the brands that they already know and love,” McLain explains. “With our boutique-style re-commerce experience, we not only focus on delivering high-demand products, but on providing each of our customers with a personal experience that is unfamiliar to online shopping.”
News of Mieux & Mieux’s affordable items and fair buying technique spread quickly. Today, the warehouse at 4153 Commerce Street (pictured here) allows McLain and her team to stock her website with 500-plus new offerings every day. What’s more, the store also offers a “concierge style” buying program. After filling out a simple application, Mieux & Mieux sends potential sellers a high-capacity wardrobe bag straight to their front door. A few days later, buyers will sort through the clothing and send an e-mail cash offer to the seller for the items the store would like to purchase. Remaining items can be returned for a flat $5 shipping fee, or Mieux & Mieux will donate the items to the Genesis Women’s Shelter.
Finally, for those who still prefer an in-store thrifting experience, Dallas-area customers can drop by the Mieux & Mieux warehouse to peruse the store’s full inventory. For more information and hours of operation, visit ShopMieux.com.
