Many Dallasites have fond memories of the Plaza at Preston Center’s annual Plaza Style event. Under a big top tent each year, the University Park shopping center would showcase upcoming trends and serve up delicious food while raising funds for a worthwhile cause. For the past two years, Plaza Style has been on pause as the Center completed extensive new construction. On September 19th, a comeback is in store.     The return of Plaza Style promises bold-face names and fashion by new-to-market retailers. Special musical guest Hunter Sullivan will join co-hosts Amy Vanderoef and Ron Corning of WFAA Channel 8. Rhonda Sargent Chambers’ RSC Show Productions will produce a showcase of looks from Plaza retailers, including exclusive new boutiques LUBLU (below, right) and Aftershock London. We look forward to previewing the latest from favorites including Calypso St. Barth (below, left) and Mal Malouf as well. Rounding out the evening, Plaza restaurants will offer cocktails and gourmet hors d’oeuvres.     Plaza Style 2013 takes place Thursday, September 19th, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. at 8311 Preston Center Plaza in Dallas.
