L’Wren Scott Teams with Banana Republic for Upcoming Holiday Line

Is it too early to start getting excited about the holidays? Maybe a tad. Nonetheless, this week Banana Republic announced a very cool upcoming designer collab – but we’ll have to wait ‘til December for the goods.

 

 

The designer in question is former model, longtime Mick Jagger girlfriend, and celebrity fave L’Wren Scott. Known to red carpet watchers for her body conscious gowns, Penélope Cruz, Jennifer Lawrence, and Madonna have all rocked Scott’s frocks. And that’s just the tip of the iceberg when it comes to her famous clientele.

 

 

Tapped by Banana to tempt 2013 holiday shoppers, Scott’s capsule collection will include “figure-skimming, hourglass dresses, fitted blazers, skinny pants, and colorful, playful prints,” according to Vogue. Playful, indeed, is a lip-printed handbag to be included in the range. We also love the looks of a skinny pant in a peony pattern inspired by Scott’s own garden.
