Fun news for Neiman’s fans who live in the Northern Metroplex. A recent visit to the designer department store’s outpost in Plano’s Shops at Willow Bend revealed several new faces and exciting upcoming events.     DFW Style Daily sat down for a sip at the Mariposa Café last week with brand-new Neiman’s Willow Bend Public Relations Manager Rachel Roberts. In Roberts’ years with the company, she has worked at stores both here in Dallas and in Seattle. She returned to North Texas just weeks ago to step into this new position.   Also joining the Willow Bend Neiman Marcus team is V.P. and General Manager Rusty Smith. Smith is new to the area by way of Florida, where he held the same position at Neiman Marcus in Ft. Lauderdale. He and his wife Michelle are thrilled to be in Texas, and they look forward to being a part of the community.     Speaking of which, the store is planning many events to please local shoppers. Come August 14th, the Willow Bend team will kick off The Trend Event with cocktails, sweets, and a live DJ from 6 – 9 p.m. On August 17th, CUSP stylists will partner with Pure Barre Plano to match guests with ideal looks for their shapes. Another can’t-miss will be designer Edward Wilkerson’s personal appearance on behalf of Lafayette 148 New York on August 22nd.
