The Obsession: Reagan is
seeing red this summer, copping to a love of crimson lip colors.
The Confession: Blaming a middle school makeup mishap for her current obsession, the blogger notes, “Pairing blue eyeshadow with bright red lips was my favorite mistake! Thankfully, I’ve learned how and when to wear bold red lipstick, and now I’m all about keeping the rest of my makeup toned down so the lip can achieve its full dramatic effect.”
The Rationalization: “In my beauty book, a red lip can easily transition from the office to happy hour with your cute coworker,” Reagan asserts. “Plus, a red lip makes you look ‘done up,’ when in reality all you had to do was dress and dash out the door.”
