|

It goes without saying that an 88,000 square foot hole in one of the “7 Retail Wonders of the Modern World” (according to Shopping Centers Today) won’t last long. Indeed, plans are already underway to fill the void with two home furnishings stores and brand-new digs for several existing NorthPark tenants.
Come Summer 2014, both Arhaus Furniture (pictured above) and Fixtures Living will make their North Texas debuts. Spanning 24,000 and 32,000 square feet, respectively, they’ll offer chic home décor and the latest high-tech hardware for kitchen and bath. Both will be located on Level Two, between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom.
Frankly, though, we the fashion obsessed are more excited about new Madison Avenue-style flagship designs for Carolina Herrera and Kate Spade. Opening this Fall, Herrera’s new larger location will be appointed in a most luxurious manner. Mahogany and teak furniture, including silk-lined armoires, will fill the space, outfitted with both a fireplace and library (pictured above). Located on Level One in the same span between Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, CH Carolina Herrera will, of course, stock all the goods associated with the international lifestyle brand.
Also opening this Fall on Level One, a relocated Kate Spade New York store will become the brand’s second largest in the United States. Fans of Kate’s colorful, whimsical look can expect a full range of clothing, shoes, paper and small leather goods, plus tabletop and fragrance collections.
Last but not least, Stuart Weitzman’s fresh look bowed in April. Click here for that update. All images, credit NorthPark Center.
