Two anticipated doors have, at last, opened in Highland Park Village. Completing a spring designer debut trifecta, Alexander McQueen and Saint Laurent Paris join Dior, which bowed in March.
Awaited for well over a year, the blackened windows at 28 Highland Park Village have finally cleared to reveal Dallas’ brand-new Saint Laurent Paris boutique. Following the departure of Stefano Pilati as Creative Director in the spring of 2012, and the subsequent naming of current CD Hedi Slimane, a comprehensive rebranding of the iconic design house delayed this debut. Now, the coveted brand formerly known as Yves Saint Laurent welcomes shoppers to its posh new space. Look for Saint Laurent Paris next door to Christian Louboutin on the west side of the Village. Also new and buzz-worthy, Alexander McQueen opened at 44A Highland Park Village just days ago. Look sharp for the small signage, hidden by trees on the north side, next door to Scoop NYC. Inside, find the latest runway and ready-to-wear looks, accessories, and shoes from McQueen Creative Director Sarah Burton. That is, if those stunning honeycomb-and-couture windows don’t keep you transfixed from the sidewalk. For contact information and hours of operation, click here.
