Fans of fun, fast fashion will soon see their Dallas shopping options expand yet again. And really, who doesn’t like a little guilt-free retail therapy? At the end of this month, LAVO Collections will join the roster at Mockingbird Station (Mockingbird Lane at I-75, Dallas). Offering gently priced women’s apparel, LAVO will cater to a clientele with an eye on current trends. Now operating locations in Austin and in the Houston area, this Dallas door marks the seventh in the brand’s growing chain. And speaking of growing, with the Metroplex H&M boom and the recent arrival of import Aftershock London, local options in this “budget chic” category are rapidly multiplying. According to the Station, however, Texas-based LAVO will add the “personable nature of a small boutique” to the equation. Current offerings via LAVOCollections.com include floral and candy-colored spring dresses, topping out around $55. Trendy tops start at under $20. At the brick-and-mortar, shoes and accessories will round out the selection. Though an exact date has yet to be set, the Station confirms LAVO will open later in May in Suite 122. At that time, grand opening gifts and discounts will be offered. We’ll keep you posted on details. Images via Mockingbird Station and LAVOCollections.com.
