Trending: Let’s Keep it Short

Wrapping our exploration of Spring 2013's hottest trends is a very short story. The latest news in this category is the Bermuda, adaptable for all body types. Introduced by the British armed forces in World War II as a uniform for the Royal Navy, we saw Bermuda shorts hit again in the preppy world of the early 1980’s. Longer versions may be called ‘walking shorts’ or ‘culottes,’ but no matter the name, they’re making a huge comeback this season. And though exaggerated volume was hot on spring runways, leg-baring short-shorts are still best sellers at moderate retailers and contemporary boutiques. So, whether clam diggers or hot pants, with summer right around the corner, let’s keep it short.
