On the evening of Thursday, March 28th, the Mezzanine at Mockingbird Station buzzed with beautiful people. Hundreds of Dallas’ most fashionable gathered for the Station’s Las Vegas-themed What To Wear fashion event, co-hosted by DFW Style Daily.

At 6 p.m. the Deep Eddy Vodka was flowing as DJ Blake Ward started spinning. With models prepping backstage for the runway show to come, special guest stars from FC Dallas (below) mixed and mingled with the crowd.

Come 7 p.m. an expert panel took the stage, including popular Dallas blogger Cynthia Smoot of Oh So Cynthia, Priya Bhola Rathod and Sean Charles of DFW Style Daily, and Ugo Ihemelu of FC Dallas. Moderator Lisa Petty, Editor of DFW Style Daily, welcomed the comely crowd and reminded all to try their luck in the Station’s Vegas trip giveaway contest.

The runway then came alive with Vegas and Spring-themed fashions from Mockingbird Station retailers including Movida Boutique, LOFT, Urban Outfitters, Relativity Outdoors, Gap, Francesca’s Collections, and Victoria’s Secret.

FC Dallas’ Stephen Keel, Walker Zimmerman, and Victor Ulloa made trends for guys such as camouflage print and colored denim look irresistible. Meanwhile, statuesque ladies from the Kim Dawson Agency showed off layered necklaces, print-mixing, and plenty of neon and metallic accents.

Capping an evening to remember, prizes were awarded to the evening’s best dressed guests and Ricki Derek crooned as the sun went down.
