The SMU Meadows School of the Arts, Fashion Media Minor program, and SMU Retail Club will again join forces to present
SMU Fashion Week in 2013. Taking place next Monday, April 1st through Friday, April 5th, the week comprises a fashion show, panel discussions, and more. Individual events will take place both on campus and at various locations throughout the city.
Founded in 2011, SMU Fashion Week aims to provide students with information on a variety of careers within the fashion industry. From blogger Tina Craig of
Bag Snob to local designers
Elizabeth Anyaa and
Amanda Sterett (

This year, SMU Fashion Week will mark its stylish start on Monday, April 1st at
Mockingbird Station’s Angelika Theater. Co-hosted by DFW Style Daily Editor Lisa Petty and Wallflower Agency Model Adam George, the official Kick-Off Party begins at 6 p.m. On the agenda are pop-up shopping, sips and bites, and a screening of
The September Issue on the Mezzanine. Please visit our
Events Calendar for RSVP details.
