Ashley Burghardt To Launch Spring/Summer 2013 Apparel Collection

Her bold, color-blocked clutches stand out in a crowd, often spotted in our city’s most stylish settings. And now, from must-have accessories to covetable clothing, Dallas designer Ashley Burghardt of Ashard Richley is expanding her popular brand.

Burghardt is a fashion talent we’ve been watching for a while. Her big win on Lifetime’s 24 Hour Catwalk in 2012 gave way to media buzz, events, and trunk shows. DFW Style Daily’s Priya Bhola Rathod sat down with Burghardt last spring for a special one-on-one chat.

Much-anticipated here at DFW Style Daily, Burghardt’s debut clothing line has been in the works for some time. Today, we are happy to announce that a late spring launch date is approaching.

A peek at the Ashard Richley Spring/Summer 2013 collection (shown here) reveals bright prints and flattering silhouettes. “I wanted the line to be fresh and eye catching, just like our bags,” explains the designer. “If you’ve seen an Ashard Richley bag, you know I like to turn heads with unique designs and colors. Why would the apparel line be any different?”

Burghardt also notes, “From design conception to the last stitch, this line is 100% made in Dallas.”

We’ll keep you posted on developments, as well as an exact launch date. We also congratulate Ashley Burghardt and husband Richard on another upcoming debut. Their son Matheson Robert Burghardt is due May 16th!
