In January we shared the exciting news of Karl Lagerfeld’s plans to stage Chanel’s next Metiers d’Art show in Dallas. Via
British Vogue we learned of his choice, following an interview with Bridget Foley at the WWD Apparel & Retail CEO Summit in New York.

Chanel’s Metiers d’Art productions are hallmarked by their grand scale and attention to detail. To wit, the last such show took place in December 2012 at a breathtaking Scottish palace, complete with whiskey refreshments, bag pipers, and an exclusive dinner overlooking a loch.

Needless to say, we’re staying on top of communications with the iconic design house, in order to share the latest news with you. Today, according to Georgina Butler, Assistant Fashion P.R. Representative for Ready-to-Wear and
Haute Couture, no news is good news, so to speak. Chanel reports no new developments on the upcoming Dallas show, but we’ll be checking back soon.
