Fashion’s Night Out To Take a U.S. Hiatus in 2013
Sad news today for fans of the ginormous annual extravaganza that is Fashion's Night Out. Word has come down from FNO HQ that the international event will take a hiatus in the United States this year. After thanking the public for its support, the official statement notes that this nationwide break will "enable retailers to channel their resources to other priorities."
Also stated is the fact that Fashion's Night Out will still take place in "select international cities."
Created by American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York in 2009, Fashion's Night Out has raised over $1.5 million for the New York City AIDS Fund since its inception. Only time will tell when or if FNO will return, and we'll keep you posted on developments.
