FGI Dallas Announces Career Day 2013

    The largest and longest running fashion career event of its kind in the nation, Fashion Group International of Dallas has announced the 45th annual Dallas Career Day will take place on April 12th, 2013, at the Dallas World Trade Center.   Attracting hundreds of students and faculty from more than 40 colleges and universities, Dallas Career Day includes a full schedule of expert speakers, panel discussions, and seminars. The high-energy event culminates in a professionally produced fashion show by Rhonda Sargent Chambers’ RSC Show Productions. A signature program of Fashion Group International of Dallas, Career Day also awards more than $45,000 in scholarships in the areas of design and merchandising.   Keynote speakers booked for 2013 include morning headliner Stephanie George, former Time, Inc. Executive Vice President and former publisher of WWD. The luncheon keynote will feature Levi Palmer, co-founder with partner Matthew Harding of the London-based designer line, Palmer//Harding.   Online registration for Dallas Career Day is now underway.
