Two Upcoming Dallas Screenings Put Fashion on Film

  A night at the movies is always a treat, especially during these cozy winter months. Lucky for us, two exclusive Dallas screenings will feature our favorite subject – fashion – and they’re right around the corner.   Read on for the details and ticketing information below:     Chasing Beauty Thursday, January 24th 6:30 p.m., Studio Movie Grill Spring Valley   Former Ford model Brent Huff’s documentary film ‘Chasing Beauty’ examines the world of modeling and our perception of beauty through expert interviews and commentary. Presented by Fashion Group International of Dallas, this one-time free screening will be followed by a Q&A with the filmmaker. Doors open at 6:30 p.m., and the film begins at 7 p.m.  This screening is free, but space is limited. RSVP by email to [email protected] secure your seat.       The Tents Thursday, January 31st 7 p.m., Magnolia Theater West Village   Wade College and Front House Management present this special screening of ‘The Tents’ from director James Belzer. Detailing the history of New York Fashion Week from 1993 to the present, the film includes interviews with designers and industry insiders from Donna Karan to Zac Posen to Michael Musto. Prior to the screening, the director will speak and cocktails and light bites will be served. Tickets are required, and both General Admission ($25) and Student ($20) rates are available.
