Missoni Disappearance Mystery Continues

Last Friday, January 4th, a plane carrying fashion mogul Vittorio Missoni (above, right) and several travel companions vanished off the coast of Venezuela. Extensive search efforts have followed, with hundreds of divers and pilots in constant action. On Sunday, a text message was reportedly received from one of the passengers’ mobile phones, lending weight to the Missoni family’s belief that the disappearance is linked to a kidnapping, rather than a crash. News then came via The Daily Beast on Thursday of the discovery of a body in Venezuelan waters, though the identity remains unconfirmed. As the search continues, our thoughts and prayers are with the Missoni family.
