benefitting Children At Risk, saw a crowd of one hundred-plus chic shoppers gather for exclusive designer appearances and a special mother-daughter fashion show.

Starting at 6 p.m., guests were greeted with champagne as they explored new holiday-ready looks by Alice + Olivia. Making a personal appearance, Dallas-based luxury fragrance designer Niven Morgan presented his line of luscious scented candles, bath, and body products. Austin’s Leigh Navarro also showcased her jewelry line, Leighelena (pictured above). Her stunning stingray cuffs, of note, nearly stole the show.

Along with seasonal shopping, the

event offered many the opportunity to learn more about the benefitting organization, Children At Risk. Driving change both politically and at the community level, this non-profit focuses on childhood hunger and poverty, as well as victims of child trafficking and other social issues.

Come 7 p.m., the much-anticipated mother-daughter fashion show began on Tootsies' spacious second level. Models included many of the designer boutique’s V.I.P. shoppers, along with their adorable young daughters. Kicking off with a casual scene highlighting looks from Tootsies’ designer inventory, the show proceeded with children’s and pre-teen fashions from neighboring Preston Center retailer, KidBiz. Concluding the show, the ladies rocked the runway in the night’s star apparel line, Alice + Olivia.

Immediately following, raffle prizes were awarded and photo fun was had at the Snapped Together photo booth. More shopping ensued, with a portion of the proceeds going to Children At Risk.

A great turnout for a great cause made this a festive, feel-good night of style. To find out more about Children At Risk, visit ChildrenAtRisk.org, and don’t forget to stop in to Tootsies to take care of your last-minute holiday shopping needs.
