With the season for gifting upon us, two new pop-ups and a
serious sale bring limited time Dallas-area shopping opportunities. Read on for the details.
Aether Rolls Into Preston Center
First up, visiting the
Plaza at Preston Center (Northwest Highway at Preston Rd., Dallas) through December 29th, California-based retailer
Aether offers performance outerwear, separates, and accessories for outdoor activities. Open Tuesday through Sunday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., you’ll find the brand’s AetherStream mobile shop behind the center’s new five-story building. Prices are steep (
Canvas Travel Bag, $395,
Women’s Fleece Hoodie, $155), but an item that combines looks, quality, and functionality could be just the ticket for the adventurer on your holiday list.
Soap Hope Pops Up At Park Lane
Dallas-based
Soap Hope puts its profits to work, empowering women both locally and internationally to end the cycle of poverty. DFW Style Daily’s own Priya Bhola Rathod is a proud spokeswoman for the new company, which offers an array of natural products for bath, body, and home. Visit Soap Hope’s holiday pop-up shop at the
Shops at Park Lane (Park Lane at I-75, Dallas), located near Gordon Biersch, for feel-good goodies including
Mayha Cosmetics,
Acure Organics, and, of course,
handcrafted soaps of all sorts.
Watters Year-End Sale December 1st
We’ve long been fans of Dallas’ own
Watters, designing bridal and special occasion dresses for some 25 years, stocked at fine retailers around the world. Come Saturday, December 1st, the company’s headquarters will host a year end sample sale, and the prices are not to be believed. Head to 4801 Spring Valley Rd., Suite 108, in Dallas, for gowns from $100 and bridesmaid dresses from just $10. Mother-of-the-bride, flower girl, and one-of-a-kind designs will also be available. The sale lasts from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m., and we have a feeling that early birds will find the best selection.
