New Moves And Debuts Refresh Snider Plaza

Many changes have come to University Park’s Snider Plaza, just in time for the fast-approaching holiday season. With these moves and debuts come a blast of fresh style to the shopping center. We’ll hit the highlights below.

First up among new doors is Uptown transplant Piermarini Boutique. Settling in across from Zoë’s Kitchen, this addition is a virtual treasure trove of local designers. You’ll now recognize its trademark Texas flag-embellished shopping bag dangling from the digits of Snider Plaza shoppers, and owner John Piermarini is gearing up for the fall season with fashions for both men and women.

Bittano also represents a newcomer from elsewhere in town. Located next door to Bubba’s, the boutique recently moved from Mockingbird Station, and it gives the Plaza a touch of the trendy. Color-blocking, baroque accessories, and more, will keep its shoppers current this season.

Turning the corner, we take you to Bevello, a North Carolina-based retailer which just opened right in the center of Snider Plaza. Promising a tailored shopping experience, it boasts a plethora of notable media mentions, such as InStyle Magazine. From designers like BCBGMaxAzria and FCUK (French Connection UK), to accessories and jewelry, Bevello gives the shopping center a bit of extra glam.

And speaking of glam, Gemma Collection is also new, next to Plaza Health Foods. Housing unique and traditional pieces, you can’t help but become overwhelmed with all there is to see in-store. From keepsakes to of-the-moment charms, Gemma Collection’s selection is worth a look, and the prices are quite nice as well.

Lastly, Snider Plaza staple Melanie Gayle has shifted into a new location next door to the above-mentioned Piermarini Boutique. As always, this ultra-feminine boutique includes labels such as Ali Ro and Level 99, plus jewelry by local favorite Amanda Sterett.

These new and newly-moved stores are giving this quaint, somewhat hidden, shopping center a jolt of trend-setting interest. Indeed, Snider Plaza seems to be gearing up for a busy and stylish holiday shopping season.
