Last Saturday, September 22nd, Dallas’ West Village
shopping center welcomed menswear boutique WAREhaus (3699 McKinney Ave., Suite 501). This new store plans to bring both trendy and
mainstream looks to the men of Uptown.
A virtual man cave, the space is furnished with a bar and many rustic décor touches. Its welcoming sales team encourages a relaxing mood, as the eye is directed to a center living area complete with animal hide rug and photos of fashionable gents in times gone by.
Think Elvis and the Rat Pack. Overall, the attitude of WAREhaus leans toward taking masculinity to a stylish level.
And speaking of that name, it’s no
doubt questionable, given a brand-new location of The Men’s Wearhouse is located a mere two blocks down. Lest they be confused, this WAREhaus is a play on the name of Patrick Ware, one of the store’s owners.
As for the goods, both casual items and suiting are available. Price points
are desirable, and among the product lines are many exclusive to the DFW area.
This soft opening weekend at WAREhaus was popular, with customers pouring in during our visit. A grand opening fête is slated for late October, and while no date has been set, we’re told additional items will be brought in for the official Grand-Opening Celebration.
