Two upcoming Dallas model searches, each hosted by a respected agency, offer a chance for girls next door (and guys and kids, for that matter) to be discovered. Read on for the details.
Wallflower Management Model Search 2012
Saturday, September 1st, 10 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Dallas’ Wallflower Management, an independent boutique agency, invites hopefuls to this search, taking place on the Galleria’s first level near Sephora. No headshots are requested (photos will be snapped on-site), and the first 50 applicants will receive a special swag bag. Categories include Females (14-24 years old/5’7’’-5’11”), Males (14-24 years old/5’11”-6’2”), and Kids (5-13 years old). Winners will receive a one-year contract and a $500 Galleria Dallas gift card. Kim Dawson Model Search 2012
Saturday, September 8th, 12 p.m. – 3 p.m.
Now in its 16th year, this well-known search hosted by the Kim Dawson Agency (Erin Wasson is one famous past discovery) is expected to draw quite a crowd. Applicants should head to the Center’s NorthCourt area, between Nordstrom and Macy’s on the first level. Open to Females (13-22 years old/5’7″-6’1”) and Males (15-24 years old/5’11″-6’2″), hopefuls will be photographed by fashion photographer Larry Travis and walk a runway for judges.
