StyleSheet Celebrates a Picture-Perfect 1st Year
This Wednesday evening, August 15th, fans of D Magazine’s StyleSheet congregated at Neiman Marcus NorthPark Center to celebrate the blog’s first anniversary. The street style chronicle has become a top trend-setting site in just twelve short months, thanks to the impeccable photography of editors and founders Kristi and Scot Redman (pictured above). The duo’s candid photos from all over our city showcase Dallas’ most stylish and fashion-forward residents.
From the urban turf of Deep Ellum to refined and poised Highland Park Village, StyleSheet never lacks diversity, and it’s never, ever boring. The same could be said for this milestone celebration.
Centered on Neiman’s second floor, as fans and friends continued to pour in, the event spilled into the first and third floors as well. From the DJ, to the bar, to the Photomatic Photo Booth, excitement was everywhere you turned. Most ushers and bartenders also sported t-shirts depicting some of StyleSheet’s most memorable photos.
As hours passed, the event kept buzzing. In fact, the two hundred-plus guests were still celebrating even as Neiman Marcus started closing up shop.
At the conclusion of the evening, Kristi Redman only had one thing to say. “Everything is so surreal,” she stated excitedly, surveying the surroundings. Of note, she and Scot, as always, were camera-ready and snapping every stylish guest.
A big congratulations to StyleSheet from all of us at DFW Style Daily!
