Six Top Picks From The F.I.G. Finale Sale

The much-anticipated twice-yearly Finale sale at downtown’s Fashion Industry Gallery (F.I.G.) began Thursday evening with a cocktail-splashed V.I.P. preview. Extending through Saturday, tickets ($15 and up) are available online and at the door at 1807 Ross Avenue in Dallas. For your planning purposes, if you’re looking to head out to this favorite local discount shopping event today or tomorrow, we scoped out a few favorite picks among what’s in store.

Arriving a tad early on preview night, we were greeted with bites and chic drinks before a sea of endless racks, all baring signs boldly proclaiming 50% to 75% off retail price. Many stylish boutiques and designers from in and around DFW had set up shop for what promises to be a big weekend.

First up, goodies from Turquoise Firefly caught our eye. Hailing from Celina, Texas, the women’s boutique doubles as a coffee shop back home. It’s worth a stop to explore the clothing brought to F.I.G. by its friendly sales staff, all representing lines native to the Lone Star State.

Next up, don’t miss V.O.D.’s offerings this time around. It goes without saying that the boutique is a favorite among many of our city’s most stylish, but we won’t have to drive to Victory Park to shop its ultra-contemporary offerings this weekend.

VIVE, a new name to us, is another good bet at F.I.G. Finale this weekend for wear-right-now finds. Flirty summer frocks can be found within this booth, as well as of-the-moment color blocked looks.

And what would a weekend shopping spree be without a few key accessories? DFW Style Daily featured designer Ashley Burghardt of Ashard Richley has also set up shop, and you won’t want to miss the discounts on her amazing leather clutches.

Another accessories leader, NorthPark jewelry boutique SWAG, is also showing at F.I.G. this weekend. Owner Lisa Alfieri is offering a large selection of her premium designer jewels, plus plenty of savings.

And finally, top Dallas designer Abi Ferrin hosts one of busiest booths. Hot at last night’s preview, you’ll want to shop Ferrin’s dresses and separates as early as possible for the best selection.
