What does style mean to you? Why is it important?
With those two questions, we launched DFW Style Daily in July 2011, and the past year has been an absolutely amazing whirlwind. Through over 600 pieces of original content, we’ve produced stunning editorials, videos featuring hot events and fashion celebrities, we’ve hit all the highlights of each season’s trends, and much, much more. Sometimes we’re opinionated, sometimes we’re funny, sometimes we introduce you to something or someone amazing that no one else has discovered.
Always, though, we’re fashionable and on the forefront of what’s really happening in the world of Dallas style.
None of what we do at DFW Style Daily would be possible without our team of writers, photographers, and our videographer. The DFW Style Daily team includes Abby Gregory, Rhonda Sargent Chambers, Sylvia Elzafon, Carlos Alonso, Ric Mulligan, Nancy Upton, Toni Munoz-Hunt, Heather Lettieri, Sean Charles, James Edward, and Priya Bhola Rathod.
On the evening of Tuesday, July 24th, we welcomed a couple (hundred) of our closest friends and colleagues to celebrate our first year. We invite you to view the following video and images from that very special night, featuring gorgeous summer white fashions by Saks Fifth Avenue and original jewelry designs by Paulette Martsolf of Accoutrer in a fashion showcase by RSC Show Productions. Special thanks are also due to volunteers Brydric Wright and Phoebe Var, Fedora Restaurant, and Steve Kemble, America’s Sassiest Lifestyle Guru, for his amazing introductions.
All ticket, raffle, and silent auction proceeds from the evening went to benefit the Suicide and Crisis Center of North Texas, our philanthropic partner. Many thanks to Executive Director Margie Wright, Yvonne Crum, and the members of the board of the SCC who were able to attend our event. Please visit SCCenter.org for more information on the many good works of this wonderful organization.
And lastly, if you haven’t already, please bookmark DFWStyleDaily.com. Like us on Facebook and follow us on Twitter. Make us your first stop of the day. No one else in the Metroplex is doing what we’re doing, and it’s you who will keep us strong.
