Set your DVR’s, kids – you won’t want to miss this premier. On Monday, July 30th, HBO presents About Face: Supermodels Then and Now, the latest documentary from award-winning filmmaker and photographer Timothy Greenfield-Sanders. An official selection of the 2012 Sundance Film Festival, it features candid interviews with legendary supes including Beverly Johnson, Paulina Porizkova, Jerry Hall, Carol Alt, Karen Bjornson, and many more. The Santa Claws Are Coming Out

Following news of the impending shop-pocalypse that is Target and Neiman Marcus’ unprecedented holiday collaboration collection, we learn via Racked this week of a similar initiative upcoming from Ebay. Set to launch November 12th, the “Ebay Holiday Collective” will bring gifts designed by Jonathan Adler, Chris Benz, and Billy Reid, among other big names, to the auction and shopping site. Goodies for men and women, as well as home décor and travel items are promised, with prices starting at $50. …At least the clawing and clamoring will be contained to the web for this one.

Finally, a tip of the pork pie to the folks at Brokelyn for this “leaked” J. Crew employee handbook. In response to a possible store opening in Brooklyn’s hipster-intensive Williamsburg neighborhood, the site’s faux J. Crew rules and regulations caused kombucha to come out our nose. Check out the list here, including guidelines for Music (“…If any customers ask about the music being played, simply respond with a withering sigh and continue folding pants.”) and Nametags (“Your nametag will say ‘Megan :/’ regardless of your given name or gender.”).
