A New Face, New Logo, and New Sponsor for Fashion’s Night Out in Dallas

Hold onto your hats, fashion fans! The night we’re all waiting for, coming September 6th to locations across the Metroplex, now has a new logo, a new face, and a fabulous new sponsor. Fashion Group International of Dallas, North Texas’ chapter of the legendary global non-profit professional organization, has just been announced as the Presenting Sponsor of Dallas’ celebration of Fashion’s Night Out in 2012. Created by American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York in 2009, Fashion’s Night Out (or FNO, for short) has grown to include cities across the country and around the world. Dallas has participated in this kick-off of the fall fashion season from the start, enjoying parties, appearances, and special events to mark the occasion each year at our favorite local shopping destinations. Fashion’s Night Out 2012 will take place on the evening of Thursday, September 6th, and Dallas’ plans will follow the original mission of FNO to energize the local retail economy and fashion industry. Of note, all official FNO events throughout the Dallas area are free and open to the public. "We are thrilled to be the local sponsor for Dallas' celebration of Fashion's Night Out, as it represents our continuing commitment to support our outstanding fashion retailers and designers,” says Jenny Siede, Regional Director for Fashion Group International of Dallas. “FNO also provides us with an opportunity to host events that benefit our Fashion Group International of Dallas Foundation, which provides scholarship funds to area college and university fashion students.”

Along with this new presenting sponsorship, FNO Dallas also has a new official spokeswoman. RSC Show Productions founder, Kim Dawson model, and DFW Style Daily team member Rhonda Sargent Chambers (pictured above) will serve as ambassador to the media on behalf of “Dallas Celebrates FNO Presented by FGI Dallas.” Chambers, known throughout the city for her unmatched style and impeccable events, is an ideal choice in the role. Finally, capping off this trio of announcements, a brand-new logo featuring the Dallas skyline has been designed by local graphic artist Robert Chapa.
