Sip With Dita Von Teese in Dallas This Thursday

When last we saw Dita Von Teese pass through Dallas, it was upon the arm of Jean Paul Gaultier at the opening gala for his stunning retrospective at the Dallas Museum of Art. This Thursday, June 7th, the International Queen of Burlesque will return to Big D on behalf of Cointreau, hosting a private poolside soirée at new hotspot Ku De Ta (3121 Ross Avenue).   Beginning at 7 p.m., Dita will preside over a performance by synchronized swimming group, The Aqualillies, as Margaritas, Cointreau Breezes, and other summertime sips are served from a vintage bar cart.

If the last Dita-hosted Cointreau event was any indication, we expect a packed house of stylish, retro-cool stunners come Thursday. Last summer’s fête at the Rosewood Mansion on Turtle Creek (pictured here) attracted burlesque beauties and well-suited gents. The lady of the hour greeted guests that night in a watercolor-print “wiggle dress”, flawlessly styled and politely soft-spoken.   Please note, this event is by invitation only.   (All photos, credit Sylvia Elzafon for DFW Style Daily)
