Headline Round-Up

Stars Shine at Met Gala On Monday evening in New York City, the Met Gala drew its annual glamorous, glittering crowd of fashion and Hollywood elite. Celebrating the opening of Schiaparelli and Prada: Impossible Conversations, celebs from Anna Wintour to Amy Poehler, Rachel Zoe to Sandra Lee, walked the red carpet. Our fave couple? A darling Emma Stone in Lanvin, on the arm of (equally adorable) designer Alber Elbaz. Check out a fashion-packed slideshow here, via Huffington Post.       Wintour Thaws For Colbert Speaking of Anna Wintour, the Vogue Editor-in-Chief appeared on the Colbert Report Wednesday night, making for some very entertaining television. Relaxed and affable, she bantered with host Stephen Colbert about the aforementioned Met exhibit and how “thrilled” she is in light of Obama’s recent endorsement of marriage equality. Wrapping their convo, the odd couple set a date for fish and chips at Long John’s (really), and traded quips at a mention of The Devil Wears Prada. Do yourself a favor and watch the full, awesome interview here.       In Other Words, You’re Grounded In local news, via NBCDFW.com we learn of NorthPark Center’s new Code of Conduct, affecting primarily kids and teens. Hanging out in the mall after 6 p.m. is now a no-no for those under the age of 17, unless they’re accompanied by an adult. In addition to this curfew, a dress code is now in place, prohibiting overly revealing clothing and items displaying offensive images or language. NorthPark believes it is the first area shopping center to adopt such regulations. Created by American Vogue, the Council of Fashion Designers of America, NYC & Company, and the City of New York in 2009, FNO brings special events, extended hours, celebrity appearances, and more, to favorite shopping destinations for one night only.
