Last October, DFW Style Daily proudly introduced our readers to Shona Gilbert, an exciting local jewelry designer playing by her own rules. Fast forward eight months, and Shona’s statement-making pieces are in high demand. Following her showcase as a featured artist during the run of The Fashion World of Jean Paul Gaultier: From the Sidewalk to the Catwalk at the Dallas Museum of Art, Shona’s designs have walked numerous runways and red carpets, and her line has expanded to include several new collections. On Thursday, May 3rd, Rhonda Sargent Chambers co-hosted a champagne soiree at Neiman Marcus downtown for the equally effervescent Shona. Guests sipped and mingled among eye-catching displays featuring the designer’s Vintage Reformed, VR Couture, Sin, Edha, and Miramar collections – just to name a few.
