The guys came out in full force last Thursday, April 12th, for an exclusive spring fashion event hosted by Neiman Marcus Willow Bend and FC Dallas. The evening was filled with some of the hottest names in soccer and top men’s trends for the season.

Kicking things off, Cufflinks Incorporated revealed its most sought-after accessory, USB Flash Drive Cufflinks. These 007-like gadgets created a frenzy amongst the men, while the women swooned over the athletes-turned-models strutting their moves on the runway.

Carlotta Lennox, Chuck Steelman, and Kodi Nelson

Neiman Marcus PR Manager Chuck Steelman styled and commentated throughout the show, emphasizing the male must-have for spring: color, color, and more color. Reds, yellows, and blues dominated the looks. Donald J Pliner’s bright shoes seemed to draw the most applause, even from the more color-phobic businessmen in the audience.

George John and Zach Loyd

FC Dallas Defenders George John and Zach Loyd, one of Cosmopolitan’s 2012 “Hot Soccer Players,” made the transition from day to dinner look effortless.

Ugo Ihemelu

Next up, Team Captain Ugo Ihemelu demonstrated the perfect way to go from the field to the office in his chic Hugo Boss suit, a newly-added line at Neiman Marcus.

Another visual detail perched atop the various display cases was the latest in hot-rod bikes from Richardson Bike Mart.

Guests feasted on bite-sized portions of Chicken & Waffles and Red Velvet Cake Pops by Legends Hospitality, specifically created for the male palate. Hip beats kept the crowd going, provided by DJ Christopher Tracy.

Brek Shea

Finally, FC Dallas/U.S. Men’s National Team Midfielder Brek Shea sported his signature bow tie look, also a prevalent trend for the spring season. But don’t be fooled by Shea’s good looks. He and FCD Striker Blas Perez closed out the weekend with goals to clench a win over Montreal during this past Saturday’s game.
