Bloomingdale’s Outlet Opens May 3rd (And More) at Park Lane

Next up in our continuing hunt for all things new in the world of Dallas retail, we’ll make a stop at The Shops at Park Lane.   Earlier this year, we filled you in on the debut of Evol Society within this complex, located across I-75 from NorthPark Center. Now, a big-name outlet is set to open in days, and two more new doors are already tempting shoppers.

First and most notably, Bloomingdale's The Outlet will open May 3rd at 10:00 a.m. Get ready to stand in line, as this debut will no doubt attract a crowd. In honor of the occasion, discounts in the form of scratch-off tickets will be doled out, providing the chance for 15% - 25% off purchases. This promotion will extend through May 6th, and $500 shopping spree giveaways are also planned.   Moving on, Reuse Jeans is now open at The Shops at Park Lane. Keeping an eye on trends as well as consumption, the brand sets out to prove that the eco-friendly and fashion worlds can coexist. Of note, all skinnies, flares, straight legs, and shorts are made with 80% recycled fabric.

Finally, on the second level of the center neighboring Whole Foods sits an almost hidden boutique that’s piquing curiosity. Charming Charlie is a very recent addition to the Shops, originally founded in Houston in 2004. Inside, find handbags to beach totes, jewelry, scarves, and belts – just about every accessory known to womankind. Products are grouped according to color throughout the store, and prices range from about $5 to $50. Don’t expect high quality here, but for a last-minute gift or pick-me-up, Charming Charlie could be worth a stop.     (All photos, credit DFW Style Daily)
