Some secrets were made to be revealed, and we here at DFW Style Daily delight in sharing the fashion
obsessions of our favorite Dallas trendsetters. Today, Kate Wagner, founder of
Campbell-Wagner Runway, gives us a peek at the epicenter of her personal style.
Recognized among Dallas’ top talent agents, Wagner has developed the modeling careers of many of our city’s famous faces for both the
Campbell and
Kim Dawson agencies over the past two decades. Never content to rest on her achievements, she has also expanded her influence to encompass event planning and design, via Kate Wagner Events and Green Leaf Couture. Find out how – and where – Wagner crafts her flawlessly fabulous look in this week’s Obsession Confession.
The Obsession: A curated, customized closet.
The Confession: Wagner converted a bedroom in her home to create her dream closet. She reveals, however, that the fixation was years in the making. “It's funny, growing up, I would babysit and do odd jobs just to have enough money to shop on the weekends,” she recalls. “Not much has changed in that area!”

The Rationalization: Says our chic expert, “My closet is a happy place for me. I like to wake up in the morning and decide who I am going to be that day.”
The Collection: Wagner notes, “There are so many things that I treasure in that room. I am lucky to have some friends that are designers, and they have given me special pieces. One of my best friends is Geoffrey Henning, and I have several pieces that he has designed just for me.”
