Artist Maria Day, specializing in jewelry handcrafted of glass and industrial metals, was announced as the big winner of the night. Day received a cash prize and a spread in Urban Mainstream Magazine. Congratulations to this talented local designer, as well as AIN founder and producer Meko Krout-King. On Saturday, March 24th, a chic crowd gathered at Marc Events in Dallas’ Design District for the Accessories in the Nude Fashion Showcase. Benefitting the North Texas Thyroid Awareness Foundation, the evening featured clothing and jewelry from local designers and retailers including Indigo 1745, TruAnjl, Barron & J., By Shona, and Izavel - just to name a few.
To the tune of soulful music provided by DJ Frances Jaye, hosts Courtney Kerr and Daylon Pereira of Bravo’s Most Eligible Dallas presided over a fashionable runway show following a V.I.P. cocktail reception.
