You may recognize model Chandra North Blaylock from her recent national campaigns for the likes of Shiseido, Macy’s, and Coldwater Creek. When she’s not walking runways or gracing the pages of magazines, her personal style combines effortless ease with a touch of rock-and-roll.

 

 

“I think Rick Owens makes, hands-down, the best leather jackets,” says Chandra of her wardrobe choice for the shoot. “The cut and craftsmanship made them a wise investment.” Beneath, she pairs a black silk blouse with a graphic Helmut Lang skirt and favorite Barneys Co-op ankle boots (hiding an interior platform).

 

 

“I was drawn to this rough diamond half-moon necklace by Jenny den Hartigh, because my name is Hindu for moon,” the Best Dressed honoree reveals.
