Stealing It: Fashion Week Special Edition

Spring is upon us in Texas, which in style-related terminology means that Fall Fashion Week just wrapped in New York City. Every major American designer showed their upcoming fall/winter collections at Lincoln Center last week, and of course, DFW Style Daily was obsessed with tracking emerging trends.

Among our favorites were architecturally oversized separates, metallic embellishments, rustic neutrals, and soft leather pieces. Today, we’re filling you in on the looks we loved, and helping you stock your springtime wardrobe with items that will remain relevant throughout the year ahead. And of course, they’re all under $100.

Trend: Soft Leather

Free People’s easy maxi dress is an effortless match to ultra high wedges and a cropped denim jacket. When temps dip, team it with neutrals and over-the-knee boots.

Abby Gregory

Working as a fashion writer has always been Abby Gregory’s dream. It’s also the perfect way to justify her love of shopping, her vintage obsession, and the scandalous amount of time she spends choosing an outfit. In addition to covering all things stylish for clients including NBC DFW and PinkMemo, Abby pens her own blog, Wish For It, featuring haute finds under $100. In her fantasy future, Abby would like to meet Dolly Parton, live in the same town as her little sister, and own a boutique stocked with the amazing things she’s snagged at Goodwill.
