With Hollywood beauties fighting to wear his exquisitely draped creations, 2012 marks Alber Elbaz’s tenth year as creative director of Paris-based design house Lanvin. Founded in 1889 by Jeanne Lanvin, the legendary name makes headlines at each red carpet occasion, spotted on the likes of Natalie Portman and Emma Stone.

Now, one of only two in-store Lanvin boutiques in existence has landed at venerable Dallas department store Stanley Korshak. To be sure, the combination of these two legends makes for a major fashion coup.

With the opening of this gorgeous in-store boutique, Korshak now boasts the largest selection of Lanvin women’s ready-to-wear clothing, shoes, handbags, and jewelry in Texas. DFW Style Daily was treated to an exclusive tour earlier this week, and you can feast your eyes on our sneak peek images today.

According to Lanvin Paris, the boutique fixtures were developed in collaboration with Elbaz himself. “An industrial look was requested to contrast with the softness of Lanvin clothing,” the house explains. “This is the reason why Lanvin furniture is manufactured with a ‘rough steel’ finishing.”

Additional décor details include a tall vitrine, inspired by the patrimony furniture that Ms. Jeanne Lanvin used in the ‘20s and ‘30s.

Now open for shopping, we suggest scheduling a visit to this stunning addition soon. What’s more, a Lanvin launch party is coming to Stanley Korshak in March. We’ll keep you posted on details as they are available.

With special thanks and congratulations to Crawford Brock, Rose Clark, Carol Webb, and Bret McKinney of Stanley Korshak from all of us at DFW Style Daily.
