Trending: Blush at the Globes

One of my favorite fashion colors was undeniably hot at Sunday night’s Golden Globe Awards. Both warm and cool shades of blush rocked the red carpet on stars including Heidi Klum, Mary J. Blige, and Sarah Hyland. These stylish women balanced the pale hue with intense eyes, show-stopping jewelry, and lips to be noticed.

Come spring, blush can be an elegant choice of color, evoking old Hollywood glamour. Below, a few of my top selections may inspire you to work this trend into your own wardrobe.

A pleated silk georgette gown by Halston Heritage ($695, Net-a-Porter) is vintage-inspired.

This blush embroidered lace dress by Tibi ($680, Shopbop) is oh, so flattering.

My personal fave is this shorter look by Haute Hippie ($445, Revolve Clothing)

For the classic Dallas lady, I recommend Albert Nipon’s elegant suit ($395, Neiman Marcus).

And for those who dream in the fast lane, Vivienne Westwood’s Gold sequined net gown ($11,115, Net-a-Porter) couldn’t be any more tempting.

Finally, to complete your blushing look, I recommend kicks along the lines of Valentino’s lace-embellished pump or Brian Atwood’s metallic platform, both available at Nordstrom.
