Each week, DFW Style Daily reveals the fashion fixations of our city’s top trendsetters.

Today, Jennifer Buxton, the stylish parent behind Real Posh Mom, shares her seasonal addictions.

What is Jennifer Buxton obsessed with for the holiday season? This Real Posh Mom is craving comfort food classics and friendly footwear, for starts. And in case you were wondering how a busy blogger manages to keep up with a strenuous schedule, we can confirm that caffeine has a lot to do with it.

1. Her Kindle, Of Course

While juggling kids, the Dallas social scene, and holiday travels, Jennifer relies on her Kindle (from $79, Amazon) for an easy-to-carry entertainment option. Of her dream machine, she adds, “It’s also helping me cut back on the ever-increasing mountains of books within my house!”

2. “Gabi” Flats by Tory Burch

“They are so soft that I don’t want to take them off, and the neutral tone matches anything,” Jennifer raves of her go-to footwear. A Dallas favorite, the “Gabi” ($250) is available at Tory Burch in Highland Park Village.

3. Whiskey Cake Restaurant

Our expert adores the farm-to-kitchen concept of this Plano eatery (3601 Dallas Parkway), and as you might expect, Whiskey Cake’s namesake sweet treat is among her favorite menu options. Buzz 972.993.CAKE for a reservation.

4. Santa Maria Novella Olio Cosmetico by Lafco

Of her primping regimen, Jennifer shares, “I apply this oil immediately after showering. Its natural healing qualities make my skin glow.” Produced by famed candle-maker Lafco, this luxe moisturizer ($72) and the entire Santa Maria Novella line are available at the brand’s Highland Park Village boutique.

5. Local Coffee Houses

Finally, Jennifer reveals that she skips Starbucks in favor of local Dallas cafés The Pearl Cup (1900 N. Henderson Avenue) and Drip Coffee Company (4343 Lovers Lane). “I’m addicted to coffee, but not just any cup,” she explains. “I crave a bold roast made by people who truly appreciate coffee.”
