October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, bringing with it a chance to shop in support of a variety of worthwhile organizations.

In today’s edition of Insider Shopping, Rhonda Sargent Chambers shares her top “pink” picks in clothing, accessories, and more.

This month, we have the opportunity to help millions of women battling breast cancer as we shop for ourselves and for the upcoming holiday season. Beyond the basic tee, products benefitting breast cancer charities now range from sophisticated designer accessories to even lingerie.

Most of these stylish items are still instantly recognizable in the signature color of the cause – pink! Among my favorites this year, however, there’s also a little purple and even checkered black and white in the mix.

Browse my picks for Breast Cancer Awareness Month below, and support your “sisters” through shopping.

1.  Think pink in one of these four Nation LTD tees ($89), and 25% of all proceeds will be donated Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

So hip and easy!

2. Award-winning Dallas jewelry designer Amanda Sterett is celebrating Breast Cancer Awareness Month with a dedicated collection. Priced from $65 – $225, 20% of the proceeds from each sale go to awareness and research.

3. Purchase one of these gorgeous scarves by Donna Karan ($195), and a percentage of proceeds will be donated to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

4. Adesso’s Butterfly Project Bracelets ($30) are a perfect gift for women of all ages. The Butterfly Project supports those affected by hereditary breast and ovarian cancer.

5. Anna Sui has always been one of my biggest influences – love her originality and sass! Buy a pair of her Hanky Panky Thongs ($25 – $35), and a portion of proceeds will benefit Fashion Targets Breast Cancer.

6. 100% of the net proceeds from Ford’s Warriors in Pink scarves ($34) go to Susan G. Komen for the Cure. This is another great stock-up gift item for the holidays.

7. Finally, Avon’s Global Ambassador Reese Witherspoon is shown here in the Crusade Denim Jacket ($45). 100% of the net profits will be donated to the Avon Breast Cancer Crusade.
