Hermès Dallas Celebrates Silver Anniversary

The French fashion house fêted its Highland Park Village boutique on Tuesday, September 21st, with a zoo-themed cocktail event.     Hermès in Highland Park Village was decorated with colorful papier-mâché animals both inside and out for its 25th anniversary party this week. Guests mixed and mingled among dangling jungle creatures, a whimsical reminder of the evening’s beneficiary, the Dallas Zoo.   Known for sumptuous leather goods, footwear, and – perhaps most famously – scarves, Hermès has issued a limited-edition scarf and tie in honor of this occasion.   Designed by Robert Dallet, the “Jungle Love” print scarf ($385) is available in turquoise, hot pink, or yellow. Men’s ties ($185) come in either green or cognac. Luckily for those who couldn’t make the soiree, these items will remain on sale at the boutique for weeks to come. A percentage of the proceeds will be donated to the Dallas Zoo.   Many happy returns to Hermès Dallas, from all of us at DFW Style Daily.
